Moose Hunts

Covering hundreds of miles of dense pine forests and aspen groves with vast streams, wet lands and lakes housing a population of over 400 moose, the Grand Mesa is an ideal habitat for moose to thrive. Hunting can be challenging as moose are solitary animals and travel at their leisure. When you've had the luck of drawing a limited allocated Moose tag for the Grand Mesa we do our best to provide you with a successful hunt. We travel a lot of miles via truck, side by side, and horseback to facilitate a successful hunt. Hiking, using moose calls, knowing where moose reside and being able to track them and get the perfect timing is not always an easy task; be prepared for long days and keeping persistence to be able to harvest the animal of your preference.
